Mineral del Monte
Mineral del Monte (a.k.a. Real del Monte) and Mineral del Chico are two charming towns in the mountains of Hidalgo state about 2 hours northeast of Mexico City. Cornish miners worked here in the 19th century, and because of them the town delicacy is Cornish pasties, both fruit and meat-filled.
